One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has demanded the book be thrown at the “same ratbags” who continuously cause destruction in city streets in the name of Extinction Rebellion.

Another Extinction Rebellion march took place in Brisbane on Monday grinding CBD streets to a halt with protesters jumping on trucks whilst the whole ordeal was live streamed.

Ms Hanson said the media must stop giving these protests airtime.

“They (Extinction Rebellion) don’t need to do anything, they just cause destruction in the heart of Brisbane, they get the media coverage, then they’ve got their point across,” she said.

“The book must be thrown at them, is this the same ratbags that the judges have let off and given a slap over the wrist?

“They disrupt people, everyday working people, they tie up emergency services. I’d be charging them for that.

“People are fed up with bleeding heart judges that are not listening to the public expectation of what they hand out in sentencing.”
