Western Australia calls for NSW arrivals to self-isolate and get tested

Western Australia has called for all New South Wales arrivals since December 11 to self-isolate immediately and get tested for COVID-19 after a cluster in Sydney’s Northern Beaches grew to 17.

Residents in Sydney’s Northern Beaches have been advised to follow a number of health measures for the next three days in a bid to stem the spread of the cluster.

New South Wales Health issued a public health alert on Thursday which stated the 17 cases includes those which were diagnosed in the area on Wednesday.

The alert includes residents in the Northern Beaches Local Government Area between The Spit and Palm Beach.
