The Western Australian opposition, the peak doctor’s group and the former Australian of the Year are calling for alternatives to COVID-19 hotel quarantine, especially for people with mental health problems.
It comes after a woman was charged for leaving hotel quarantine in Perth on the weekend and criss-crossing the city for nine hours until she was taken into police custody.
