From next Monday Australians will start flying back into Melbourne from overseas and will be spending their quarantine period in one of 11 hotels.

But the hotel quarantine system will look a bit different. The sites will be manned by police and dedicated staff.
The returned travellers will pay thousands of dollars for their stay and not be allowed to leave their rooms.
