Sky News host Chris Kenny says Minnesota and many other US cities are on “tenterhooks” tonight waiting on the verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin.
Protests have been escalating as the jury deliberate the fate of former police officer Derek Chauvin over the death of George Floyd last year.
Mr Kenny spoke with Gray TV White House Correspondent Jon Decker about the issues currently playing out.
“All across the US, Washington, New York, Chicago, all the way out to Los Angeles and of course in Minneapolis, they are concerned about more violent protests if a verdict comes back not guilty,” Mr Decker said.
Mr Chauvin has been charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter over the death of George Floyd.
