Executive Director of the Menzies Research Centre Nick Cater says those at the ABC are “predominantly lazy-left”.
“It seems impossible for them to imagine to themselves that they might have one perspective and they need to counterbalance that with another,” Mr Cater told Sky News host Peter Gleeson.
“You’re writing for the readers, not yourself.
“I think this is something to do with the public service ethos; they lose connection with the customers.
“Your customer makes a decision every day about whether or not you’re going to stay in business and whether or not you keep your job.
“ABC – the money’s always there, so there’s almost a disdain for the customer.”
