Yesterday’s discovery of the woman’s infection broke the state’s run of 26 days without a local infection.
She was a cleaner at the Novotel and Ibis hotels at Darling Harbour from the 27th – 30th November.
It’s good news that she didn’t acquire the case in the community, but it’s also raising questions about how airline staff are being quarantined.
