SA Health has taken over an Adelaide city hotel to create a dedicated facility to isolate all positive coronavirus cases arising from overseas arrivals.

The medi-hotel staff will be tested daily to reduce the risk of community transmission from those in quarantine with COVID.
Authorities have said airborne transmission at quarantine facilities poses the biggest threat to the SA public.
