Sky News host Chris Kenny says “sadly our worst fears were realised” when it came to the fate of the missing Indonesian submarine.
It has been confirmed the submarine has been found cracked apart on the sea floor in waters off the coast of Bali.
The vessel was broken into three pieces at a depth of 850 metres – well beyond its survivable limits.
The military has confirmed all 53 personnel onboard have died.
Mr Kenny spoke to the Australian Institute of Submarines’ Frank Owen about the latest developments on the issue.
