Hotspot MPs allowed to skip isolation to attend parliament

MPs from Sydney hotspots will be allowed to skip quarantine in order to attend parliament in person on February 2.

Among those who will be skipping isolation is Opposition leader Anthony Albanese, who will be required to apply for an exemption.

MPs from ten local government areas which are still considered hotspots by the ACT will only be allowed to travel between their accommodation and parliament house.
