Sky News host Paul Murray says “each-way-Albo” is sinking like a stone and no matter what games he plays for Twitter and the Press Gallery, Australians are not impressed.
“As you know, just this week, by a margin of two-to-one, Scott Morrison remains the preferred prime minister. While no one is bulletproof, he’s certainly pretty damn strong and in part, because he knows what side the ‘Quiet Australian’ is on,” he said.
“When China has a go at us, he pushes back and Australia likes it.”
Mr Murray said “each-way-Albo” backed Mr Morrison’s hardline condemnation of China’s offensive, fake social media post on Monday, only to criticise the government over the relationship breakdown on Wednesday.
