CCTV of a carjacking in Sydney’s south west last year has been released as police continue their hunt for a gunman.

About 1:30am on December 20, a 32-year-old man was driving his Hyundai Getz into the McDonald’s drive-thru on Gould Road, Eagle Vale, when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun.
The man, wearing ski googles and a face covering, forced the driver out of the vehicle and drove away from the scene.
The driver alerted nearby staff from the restaurant and police were contacted. He was not injured.
Police are making a public appeal for any information about the gunman who they describe as Caucasian with a slim build.
