EXCLUSIVE: Recovered COVID-19 patient Joe Tannous has spoken to Sky News a year on from his coronavirus diagnosis, revealing the physical and mental impacts he has endured.
“I thought if I get it a second time(COVID-19), I’m going to freak out because I now know what might happen to me,” Mr Tannous said.
Mr Tannous said he has never been to “another political event, or any event with large gathering because I would get anxious”.
He said he was anxious he would “catch it again”.
“I’ve reflected, I’ve understood that, you know, I’ve had COVID and what didn’t kill me makes me stronger”.
“And that’s where I am at the moment”.
Mr Tannous has taken part in trails following his COVID-19 infection and subsequent recovery.
