Sky News host Paul Murray says, “it took too long, it’s been too painful, but the border has come down” between Victoria and New South Wales.
“Family members have been reunited, family members who did nothing wrong, but because other people did the wrong thing in the Victorian government, we got the second wave through hotel quarantine and 800 people died.
“Families were reunited today.
“It was a wonderful moment in Australia today, and may it be a lesson to everyone else who is trying to hide behind borders, that these people are your fellow Australians.
“These people need to be reunited and reunited in a country that is on top of this virus.”
