Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says the trouble with the National Cabinet is that too many of those attending it “are the sort of people who will steal your watch and then tell you the time”.
“I don’t rely on these premiers at all,” Mr Hardgrave told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
It comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced National Cabinet shall convene twice a week in order to address challenges faced within the nation’s vaccine rollout.
Mr Hardgrave said some of the premiers have been “as guilty as anybody disparaging this rollout”.
“This thing’s not operating as a cabinet normally would do, there’s no solidarity associated with it,” he said.
