A 26-year-old man from Melbourne’s south-east has the virus and more than a dozen public exposure sites have been identified.

The infection occurred at a quarantine hotel for the Australian Open, sending hundreds of players and officials into isolation and casting fresh doubts on the wisdom of holding the tournament.
