Police in Brisbane are investigating the death of a five month old baby girl and treating the death as “suspicious”.
The child was found unresponsive in her Annerley home on November 16th and the cause of death was ruled to be undetermined after an autopsy found no physical injuries.
Queensland Police Acting Detective Inspector Rod Watts says this is not a “natural death”.
“The child was happy and healthy one afternoon and the next morning the child was at home but deceased,” he said.
“This is not a natural death, there is something suspicious in the circumstances.”
