Liberal MP Jason Falinski says the restrictions put on the Northern Beaches for Christmas are “the right response” from the NSW government and the community spirit is shining through.
His comments come after Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the ten person household limit will remain from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, with children under 12 excluded.
“It’s not great, but the indefatigable spirit of the Northern Beaches is shining through, so we will make the best of it,” he told Sky News host Chris Smith.
Mr Falinski praised the premier and the health minister to for attempting to ensure the “burden falls on as few people as possible”.
“The data, the science, the medical experts all point to this being the right response.”
