Amanda Gorman, the Youth Poet Laureate of the United States stole the show at the inauguration of President Joe Biden with a self-penned work about unity and togetherness.

Luthern Williams, taught 22-year-old Ms Gorman at the New Roads School in Santa Monica, California, a school set up in the wake of the Rodney King murder in Los Angeles. He said says she is ‘incredibly driven to transform the world’.
