Investigators have released now information about the gunman who killed eight people in a mass shooting in the US in a FedEx facility.
The gunman has been identified as 19-year-old Brandon Hole, a former FedEx employee at the facility.
Brandon Hole’s mother warned police a year ago about his potential for violence and to “commit suicide by cop” but the FBI had closed the investigation due to insufficient evidence.
For the fifth time in his presidency, Joe Biden has had the flags at half-mast and called mass shootings a “national embarrassment”.
“This has to end, it is a national embarrassment, it is a national embarrassment that is going on,” he said outside the White House.
“Every single day, every single day, there is a mass shooting in the United States.”
