Daniel Andrews calling for a Royal Commission into Crown Casino is yet another example of the Victorian premier “shoving responsibility, shoving accountability, and taking Victorians for granted,” according to the IPA’s John Roskham.
The Victorian premier announced on Monday the state government will be holding a Royal Commission into whether Crown Resorts is a fit and proper entity to hold a casino license in the state.
“This is about making sure that those who hold a casino licence in Victoria uphold the highest standards of probity and integrity, and that they’re accountable for their actions,” Mr Andrews said.
Mr Roskham said he finds it “incredible” that Premier Andrews speaks at all about accountability.
