Multiple European countries are joining a growing list of nations banning travel from the United Kingdom in a bid to curb a new coronavirus strain from spreading throughout the continent.
The new coronavirus strain is reportedly highly infectious and has been circulating in parts of South East England.
The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Australia, Germany and France, among others, have all implemented varying forms of restrictions on travellers from the UK.
Countries outside of Europe such as Canada, Argentina, Columbia and Chile have all banned travel from the UK.
The bans are set to be revised over the coming days.
