Conspiracy theories about coronavirus vaccines are ‘quite disturbing’: Bolt

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the conspiracy theories about coronavirus vaccines are “quite disturbing” but do not show that the experts are wrong.

“From my point of view these vaccines are a medical miracle, work even better than flu vaccines, done in record time – it’s really astonishing – and they’re our best hope of getting out of this virus disaster,” he said.

“The best way to deal with what I think are natural suspicions about vaccines … is simply to answer the questions.”

Mr Bolt pointed out the experts say coronavirus vaccines are “quite safe and very effective so far”.

“Of course they could be wrong – always wise to bear that in mind – but the conspiracy theories that I get sent are quite disturbing … but they don’t actually show to me at all that these experts so far are wrong,” he said.

“If you’re still a little unsure about the vaccine, you’d like more time to think, fine.

“I bet you that months from now you will wonder what the fuss was all about.”
