If Opposition leader Anthony Albanese can’t acknowledge that “more than 80 per cent” of Australian electricity comes from black coal, then he is gone according to Sky News host Alan Jones.
“It is no use gilding the lily,” Mr Jones said.
“Anthony Albanese is nice bloke but … as I am speaking now more than 80 per cent of our electricity is coming from black coal.
“If Albo can’t bring himself to acknowledge that, he is gone.”
Mr Jones also said “significant sections” of the Liberal Party “know no better”.
“I honestly think Matt Kean, the Liberal minister for something, has gone mad,” he said.
