Assistant Finance Minister Zed Seselja says he thinks the nation will see the economy continue to recover as state borders start reopening and restrictions continue to ease.
“We’re going to see a lot of Australians travelling within Australia,” Mr Seselja told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Which is fantastic”.
Mr Seselja said “returning Australians” would give the economy a boost, as would the easing of restrictions.
“The fact that we’ve been able to manage this pandemic, I think, comparable to virtually every other nation on earth very well, puts us in a good position for all of those kinds of things to happen,” he said.
